Wigtownshire U13s Show Heart and Determination in Dumfries Battle

Wigtownshire U13s travelled to face a strong and experienced Dumfries side and, despite the result not going their way, put in a hugely encouraging performance.

Still only a month into playing together as a team, the boys showed incredible spirit and defended like demons — forcing numerous mistakes from the opposition with their relentless effort and commitment.

While Dumfries’ rush defence and breakdown dominance proved the difference, Wigtownshire’s defensive display was outstanding and showed just how quickly this young team is learning and improving.
